ADJ Detailing – Terms and Conditions of Service

Welcome to ADJ Detailing. By scheduling, requesting, or receiving any service from ADJ Detailing, the customer (“Client”) acknowledges and agrees to the following Terms and Conditions in full. These terms are legally binding and govern all services provided by ADJ Detailing.

1. Service Overview

ADJ Detailing provides mobile and on-location vehicle detailing services within Citrus County, Florida. We specialize in interior and exterior cleaning and reconditioning of vehicles using professional-grade tools and industry-approved products. We do not offer ceramic coating at this time.

2. Consent to Record

As part of our quality assurance, liability protection, and promotional efforts, ADJ Detailing reserves the right to photograph and/or video record both the interior and exterior of any vehicle before, during, and after service. These recordings may be used for internal documentation or marketing purposes. Clients who do not consent must provide a written opt-out prior to service.

3. Client Responsibility

  • Clients must remove all personal belongings and valuables from the vehicle prior to service. This includes, but is not limited to: clothing, documents, accessories, electronics, child seats, trash, food containers, and aftermarket add-ons.

  • ADJ Detailing is not responsible for any item left inside the vehicle that may be discarded or damaged during the detailing process. This policy is clearly communicated prior to service and acknowledged through booking or arrival.

  • ADJ Detailing will not clean vehicles with excessive hazardous materials, biohazards, or infestations without prior notice and consent. These cases may require additional fees.

4. Service Modifications and Timing

While most services are completed within the estimated time window provided at the time of booking, ADJ Detailing reserves the right to extend service time in order to ensure optimal results. Certain detailing services—especially those involving extensive dirt, pet hair, stains, or oxidation—may require extra time and materials.

In such cases, service duration may exceed the standard expectation. While no guarantee of exact completion time is made, we strive to be efficient and respectful of our clients’ schedules.

5. Service Charges and Pricing Structure

All pricing is discussed and confirmed during booking or inspection. However, certain fees are embedded in our operational structure to ensure consistent quality of service:

  • Pricing varies depending on vehicle size, condition, and the services requested.

  • Additional add-on services such as stain extraction, engine bay cleaning, or carpet restoration are priced individually.

  • A minimum vehicle service base applies for all appointments regardless of final work scope.

  • Premium-tier services, if selected or required based on assessment, may include elevated preparation or finish-related efforts as part of our higher-level vehicle rejuvenation approach.

The Client agrees that once a service is accepted, any related baseline and finishing considerations are inherent to the appointment and do not require separate disclosures per subsections 5.1 and 5.6 of this agreement.

6. Payment Terms

All payments are due immediately upon service completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted forms of payment include cash and select digital wallets. A receipt or invoice can be provided upon request.

Failure to pay within 24 hours of service completion may result in a late fee and denial of future service until the payment issue is resolved.

7. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled service time. Cancellations made after this window or repeated rescheduling may result in forfeiture of a deposit or refusal of future service.

8. Damage Liability Waiver

While every effort is made to handle your vehicle with care and attention, ADJ Detailing is not liable for:

  • Pre-existing scratches, paint damage, oxidation, or wear

  • Mechanical/electrical malfunctions arising during or after service

  • Any post-service issues unrelated to cleaning, including warning lights triggered by unplugging accessories or sensors

9. Inclement Weather and Safety Delays

ADJ Detailing reserves the right to delay, cancel, or reschedule services due to weather conditions or unsafe working environments. If unsafe surfaces, low light, or heavy rain affect service quality or team safety, clients will be notified promptly and alternative arrangements will be offered.

10. Dispute Resolution

In the rare case of a service dispute, the client must notify ADJ Detailing within 48 hours of service. We will make a good-faith effort to resolve all disputes promptly. However, any verbal or written harassment toward staff will void such efforts and result in a permanent ban from future services.

11. Acceptance of Charges

By accepting service, the client acknowledges understanding of:

  • Service expectations and time estimates

  • The minimum service initiation rate required to dispatch detailing staff

  • The potential for premium-tier adjustments based on vehicle condition and client approval

  • Client responsibility for securing or removing all personal items

  • Media capture consent unless explicitly declined in writing

These conditions apply universally to all clients, regardless of booking channel or payment method.

12. Policy Changes

ADJ Detailing may revise these Terms & Conditions at any time. Clients are encouraged to review the policy periodically for updates.
